Job Summary
The Support Manager for Shipping & OMNI Fulfillment is responsible for facilitating and coordinating daily shipping operations as well as overseeing the fulfillment of all online and BG client connect orders.
Job Duties
- Communicate daily operational objectives with their team while creating a workflow.
- Help in the prioritizing and planning of shift to maximize overall shipping output and accuracy.
- Check orders for accuracy and proper labeling (both during consolidation and packaging).
- Make sure that all employees are operating within wrapping/ shipping standards.
- Work alongside and keep employees on task while holding them to the highest company standards.
- Help troubleshoot shipping issues with lost packages and claims.
- Review and prioritize pending orders to be fulfilled within 24 hours.
- Build a cohesive customer service driven team.
- Attend meetings with Support and Selling Managers to build cross functional partnerships while executing the operational strategy.
- Train and develop their support associates.
- Ensure daily coverage in all areas to maintain store operational standards.
- Partner with Selling Directors and Selling Managers to facilitate identifying merchandise location for pending online orders.
- Update Operations team daily on OMNI fulfillment progress and identify any possible obstacles.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in Operations Management, preferably in OMNI channel fulfillment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and support multiple functions within the department.
- Ability to manage projects and timelines.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
