Description
At Justnlife.com we are always on the lookout for fresh, new voices to add to our roster of talented social media editors & managers. This is a 6 month, non-paid internship position that is remote but can require you to attend company and industry events.
As a Social Media Editor & Manager Intern you will be expected to curate a minimum of 3-7 social media posts per day . While the work is done at your own pace, adherence to deadlines is expected. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess strong critical thinking skills to complement our dynamic team. Our team is eager to impart knowledge and experience in social media editing and management, with the hope that you gain valuable experience in this field.
You are expected to conduct research and curate social media posts about the trending topics or recycle content from our website or YouTube. Once the post is finalized and approved, it will be published on Just N Life's social media platforms by our Sr. Social Media Editors & Managers.
Our aim is to equip you with the skills necessary to produce professional-grade social media posts for yourself or any future employer.
Responsibilities
Content Creation : Assist in the creation and curation of engaging social media content, including posts, images, videos, and stories.
Analytics and Reporting : Assist in monitoring social media performance, tracking key metrics, and providing insights to support decision-making.
Campaign Support : Contribute to the planning and execution of social media advertising campaigns, including research and ad creation.
Learning Opportunity : Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices and apply your knowledge to our strategy.
Pitch Ideas : Generate creative ideas to increase audience engagement and grow our social media following.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience, in roles of progressive responsibility for content curation & social media within a entertainment and lifestyle publication.
- Strong passion for and understanding of various social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box to develop engaging content.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
- Intermediate graphic design skills and knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Capcut, Davinci Resolve) is a must.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Has own computer and internet
- Must meet deadlines
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
