Organizational Development  (20%) 

• Achieve ‘meets or exceeds expectations’ Weekly 10 Performance Management ratings for all MBO’s and Key Responsibilities.
• Develop talented team players that demonstrate the proven capabilities to operate multiple pieces of equipment and retain the knowledge needed to safely and proficiently perform the required job responsibilities.
• Interface effectively with other functions to maximize success and increase expertise across the entire organization (Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Technology and Finance) as measured by annual quarterly review, and Weekly 10 feedback
• Support our annual Safety, Wellness, and Recognition Teams and/or programs to continue to improve upon our sites key focus areas. Goal of 80% positive annual survey feedback.

Operations Excellence (50%) 

• Maintain a positive working culture that is centered on safety. Safety Incident Goal = 0 
• Prepares items for shipment ensuring cost effective courier services.
• Handle day to day coordination of shipments working with Warehouse staff and Customer Service
• Lead the work of shipping personnel performing related work; assign work to subordinates, provide feedback, and takes corrective action when necessary.  
• Follow and iterate on established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives. Follow established continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse department by ensuring all tools, equipment, and raw materials are ‘spotless’ and put away in designated areas. 
• Attain and communicate clear metrics and performance versus targets for the shipping department comprised of the following: safety incident rate and last recorded incident, Quality, OT&C for domestic and Aalter, Orders shipped per day, and production bonus targets.
• Actively participate in all inventory cycle counting efforts on an as needed basis.
• Troubleshoot and track down the root cause of any cycle count variances.
• Communicate any discovered issues to the operations and/or finance team to aid in continuous improvement of production reporting efficiencies and accuracy.
• Ensure all communication/performance tracking tools are updated and functional at all times. Specifically shipping crew daily metrics. 
• Attend daily production meeting providing input to production, quality, maintenance or scrap issues. 
• Interact in a professional manor and support your direct reports to provide the tools, processes, equipment and resources needed to effectively allow them to conduct their daily responsibilities. 
• Support and maintain the implementation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enable the OneNekoosa model including Materials and Packaging items tracking them from receipt to shipment. 

Continuous Improvement Execution (30%) 

• Ensure all approved freight, inventory, labor, and material cost savings continuous improvement projects are completed on time, on budget and meeting payback expectations.
• Support and provide the sites Operational Manager continuous improvement opportunities that can be implemented within our warehouse department to achieve our annual operational financial plan.
• Deliver $75K in operational savings (Fright, Labor, Materials)

Required Core Competencies:  

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of shipping and warehouse operations (Prior warehouse management system experience preferred)
