The role of a Picker is to locate and pick all items that a customer has ordered from inventory by means of carts, racks, containers, etc. The Picker then collects all items in a safe and careful manner and places them in the Consolidation Area.
Other warehouse duties may be required, as directed by the supervising manager.
- Able to pick with speed and accuracy
- Enjoy meeting daily & hourly goals
- Arrive to work on time, you are reliable.
- Utilize warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as directed by management.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Employees will have daily performance goals which will be critical to success.
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Previous "picking or stowing" experience preferred.
- Must be able to meet daily metric goals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain self-motivated.
- Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills with a positive attitude.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus.
