Description
Scope: Responsible for maintaining all equipment at both Samoset and Parrish manufacturing facilities while keeping safety in mind.
- Performs all duties in a safe and legal manner, being responsible for yourself and the employees around you.
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly and annual preventive maintenance checks.
- Report parts needed and has approved by Manager, orders and verifies delivery.
- Communicates needed repairs and scheduling to Manager.
- Performs repairs on all equipment including pumps, valves, agitators, hoses and general structures of buildings and grounds.
- Assist in Daily, Weekly and Monthly Safety Audits.
- Fills in as Operator as needed
- Fills our required paperwork to perform work – LOTO, Work orders, Permits
- Blow down boiler and record boiler chemical history if applicable
- Identify “other than normal” conditions and report as necessary.
- Identify and reports potential unsafe conditions in work area.
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the company.

- Torches
- Air compressor
- Forklift
- Power tools
- JLG (man lift)
- Boom truck
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Cutting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic equipment
- Knowledge of lubricants
- Mechanical knowledge
