Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting project coordination and management within the construction site environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Duties
- Coordinate project activities and schedules to ensure timely completion of construction tasks.
- Assist in the preparation and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Work with the team to assist in the bid process, material acquisition and site management.
- Use microsoft office suite to maintain files and documents.
- Maintain project documentation using docusign, dropbox, fieldwire and other software programs to accurately manage project details.
- Collaborate with project managers to facilitate effective project scheduling and resource allocation.
- Monitor progress on-site, addressing any issues that may arise during construction.
- Support communication between contractors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Assist other staff members with HR based roles, including but not limited to time clock management, employee reviews, employment documents for new hires etc.
Experience
- Proven experience in project coordination within the construction industry is preferred. Admin experience is a must, construction experience preferred.
- Familiarity with project management software such as fieldwire, a plus.
- Strong understanding of HR concepts preferred.
- Experience with wix, docusign, lawdepot, and field wire for document handling and collaboration is desirable.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of construction site operations and site management desireable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for successful collaboration.

However, it will require visits to job sites and collaboration in office with executive staff. Initial training will need to be onsite. Ideal candidate will be able to accommodate weekly visits to site/office and also be able to work efficiently in their home based office as well.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50 - $27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
