About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the maintenance and operations of our commercial properties . This role ensures the optimal performance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems while overseeing budgeting, planning, and strategic operations to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget , ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment efficiency and longevity
- Lead a team of engineers and maintenance personnel, ensuring smooth operations
- Monitor and optimize energy management and building automation systems
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and property management teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and building codes
- Contribute to strategic planning for operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives
