Job Objective :
The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) is responsible for setting supply chain policies, defining strategic objectives, and leading initiatives to improve overall efficiency. This role involves implementing projects to optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), improving procurement processes, inventory controls, and distribution systems, and enhancing planning and forecasting reliability. The SCM will drive continuous improvement to support business growth and expansion.
Essential Job Functions :
- Spearhead innovative supply chain strategies to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and drive cost savings.
- Oversee supply chain operations, including sourcing, procurement, and material management.
- Collaborate with Sales and Production teams to proactively address potential delays, product issues, or operational risks.
- Develop and implement inventory management and cost reduction strategies in coordination with operations, production, quality, and sustainability teams.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure a seamless supply chain.
- Lead contract negotiations and vendor performance reviews to maximize service quality and cost efficiency.
- Enhance interdepartmental coordination and communication to improve operational workflows.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets with a focus on financial efficiency and cost optimization.
- Safeguard finished goods inventory and oversee physical inventory counts.
- Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory agencies and industry standards, positioning the company as an industry leader.
