Behavioral Health Consultant (CONTRACT)
You are an experienced professional passionate about supporting behavioral health programs and providing technical assistance to Tribal Health Programs. In this role, you will oversee grant-funded programs, offer training, and ensure deliverables are met, all while advocating for client and community needs.
This position pays : $35 - $37 per hour
Location : Sacramento, CA (on-site)
Schedule : 35 hours per week, with your choice of 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM or 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
What you will be doing :
- Monitoring grant budgets and deliverables to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Participating in grant and report writing for current and future funding opportunities.
- Ensuring timely, accurate completion of all grant deliverables.
- Responding to inquiries from various departments regarding behavioral health topics.
- Assisting with training requests on behavioral health subjects, such as recognizing signs of substance abuse, domestic violence,
- Networking with professionals across local, federal, and Tribal mental health programs.
- Providing training on clinical best practices and documentation to behavioral health staff.
- Advocating for clients in navigating community systems like schools and courts.
