Job Title: Case Manager
You are a compassionate and detail-oriented professional with experience in social services, mental health, and financial case management. You have a strong understanding of Social Security benefits, including SSI and SSDI, and have worked as a Representative Payee. You are passionate about providing equitable care and assisting individuals experiencing homelessness or financial hardship.
Location: San Rafael (Full time)
Temp to Hire
Compensation: $27/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing public benefits and personal finances for vulnerable populations.
- Processing applications for financial assistance and Coordinated Entry enrollments.
- Conducting client assessments and referrals to social services.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to expand services.
- Attending regular meetings with the Social Security Administration.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience working with Social Security Benefits (SSI, SSDI).
- Experience as a Representative Payee.
- Background in mental health services or working with individuals experiencing homelessness.
- Strong organizational skills, empathy, and attention to detail.
- Compliance with OSHA requirements, including a negative TB test and COVID-19 vaccination (or exemption).
