You are a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician passionate about food safety and quality assurance. Location: Union City, CA
This position pays: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Mon-Thurs: Noon-6pm. ***This is temporary role for 1 month plus***
What you will be doing:
- Conducting routine lab analysis to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Verifying batch sheets, inspecting storage and allergen handling, and monitoring refrigeration temperatures.
- Performing pre-operational inspections and verifying monitoring activities.
- Preparing and verifying labels for finished products.
- Conducting equipment calibration and hourly packaging inspections.
- Organizing quality control documentation and releasing hold ingredients after verification.
What you bring:
- 1-2 years of Quality Control experience in food manufacturing (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food processing equipment.
- Strong written communication and computer skills (Excel, Word, Internet).
- Bilingual- English / Spanish preferred.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and pay close attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, and physical demands.
- Strong attention to detail. (very important)
