What You Will Be Doing
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop quality processes, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement quality standards within the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Review and approve PPAPs, first article inspections, and supplier quality documentation.
- Perform statistical analysis (Gage R&R, SPC, capability studies) using Minitab.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and facilitate external audits.
- Train employees on quality procedures, documentation, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
- 3 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with QMS, PPAP, PFMEA, APQP, and Control Plans.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Minitab.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- ASQ certification is a plus.
