Job Overview
NETS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and direct our HR team and functions. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and driving strategic HR initiatives that align with the organization's goals. This position will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and talent development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s objectives.
Monitor HR metrics to evaluate performance and areas for improvement.
Fulfill HR requirements to both existing and prospective government contracts won by the company
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Implement sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
Assist in maintenance of Job Descriptions ensuring they are up to date and compliant with all regulating bodies
Employee Relations and Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on workplace issues.
Address employee grievances promptly and effectively.
Develop programs and initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
Performance Management and Development
Implement and oversee performance review systems.
Develop training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
Partner with leadership on succession planning and career pathing.
Compliance and Policies
Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain and update HR policies in line with legal requirements and best practices.
Manage audits related to labor laws, payroll, and HR practices.
Maintain HRIS system – ensuring full functionality of all platforms to include Recruiting, Onboarding, Timekeeping, HR & Payroll
Compensation and Benefits Administration
Manage payroll processing and benefits programs.
Benchmark compensation strategies to remain competitive in the market.
Oversee employee recognition and rewards programs.
Manage Employee Benefits platform; facilitate enrollments and open enrollment
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 4 years of HR management experience.
Experience supporting government contracts is a plus.
Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
In-depth knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and HRIS systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
