PARTS COUNTERPERSON

SUMMARY
The Parts Counterperson is responsible for providing parts to customers over the counter, through the shop and on the phone.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting retail and shop customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Locating stock parts
- Stocking shelves
- Keeping orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts.
- Notifying part manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Answering phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Delivering parts
- Verifying will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocking those items not picked up or required.
- Ability to perform inventory counts
- Keeping current on new products and product updates.
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Perform other duties assigned
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of experience of automotive parts experience
- Must have computer proficiency
- Proven track record in sales and customer service
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Maintain an orderly workplace
Salary : $19 - $25
