Dental Hygiene Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in promoting oral health, educating patients, and assisting the dental team in providing high-quality care in our clinic.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with medical coding for insurance claims related to dental procedures.
• Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide exceptional patient care in a dental office setting.
• Stay updated on the latest dental terminology and advancements in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
• Experience in a dental clinic environment is preferred, with knowledge of dental office systems.
• Familiarity with medical coding practices is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, including children.
• A passion for promoting oral health and educating patients about preventative care.
