POSITION OVERVIEW: The paint and pack operators are responsible for ensuring quality standards are being met while always upholding safety principles and guidelines. Paint and Pack Operators may be cross trained, and move from one area, or department to meet customer needs and demands.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: The paint and pack operator must possess the ability to understand and follow all safety rules and guidelines. They will prepare and set up necessary tools and equipment for the painting and packaging processes. Paint and pack operators must have the ability the follow hazardous waste procedures. They will operate hand and power tools, cranes and hoists. Paint and pack operators must have the ability to process required paperwork as well as accurately utilize measuring devices. Paint and pack operators may be cross trained in other areas and asked to complete other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 1 year of manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The ideal candidate for the paint and pack operator will have a positive attitude and act professionally. They will be comfortable working in a group and individual setting. The paint and pack operator will posses the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and be able to problem solve and resolve issues. They operator must posses the ability to lift, push and pull 25 pounds as well as the ability to stand, bend, reach and walk for at least 10 hours
