The Senior Business Analyst analyzes different business areas to determine process improvement, automation needs and opportunities. Education and experience requirements :
- 6 years of experience as Business Systems Analyst including requirements gathering, technical writing, functional specification, and analytics.
- 3 years of proven experience in project management required.
- 3 years of experience of leading change and training initiatives while implementing technical solutions.
- Laboratory operations or health sciences industry preferred
- Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration and Computer Systems or other related field.
- Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Prefer to have Microsoft CRM experience. Essential job functions :
- Lead requirements gathering sessions.
- Define and document timelines.
- Follow defined process methodology.
- Ensure requirements completeness and traceability.
- Perform analysis on business area and automation applicability.
- Contact for business users when system issues arise.
- Follow applicable regulatory requirements (GMP, GLP, ISO, etc.).
- Know and follow company policies and procedures.
- Complete required training on time.
- Review / approve business analysis estimates.
- Trains and mentor's other IT Business Analysts
- Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- IT project lead on business projects.
- Lead the maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting, and implementing new software and hardware programs.
- Provides information in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience.
- Prepares and delivers presentations for a variety of audiences in a clear, organized, and understanding manner.
