We are seeking a person with experience in leadership to lead a team of laboratory analysts and study directors who are part of a lab resource sharing team called POD. You will oversee a team of over 15 skilled employees who are trained in multiple areas of the company, ensuring optimal resource allocation, team performance, and continuous excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of laboratory analysts and study directors, ensuring high performance and a positive, results-driven culture.
- Develop and manage weekly schedules to support lab operations, adjusting schedules as needed to address daily changes and proactively solving issues.
- Manage timecards and paid time off requests.
- Onboard internal team members, facilitate cross-training, and identify training opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
- Monitor performance, provide coaching, and handle performance management, including disciplinary actions, and foster continuous improvement.
- Contribute to long-term staffing, resource allocation, and team development plans, supporting succession and retention efforts.
- Maintain consistent communication with leadership across all departments and present updates to the director team and in lab coordination with senior leaders.
- Oversee the already established POD certification program, ensuring employees meet initial and ongoing certification requirements.
- Proven experience leading teams. Business/Management training preferred.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills to manage fluctuating production demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with leadership and team members.
- Strong skills with performance management, coaching, and addressing performance issues.
- Ability to drive strategic growth and contribute to long-term decisions.
- Expertise in onboarding, training, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Proven track record in fostering continuous improvement and aligning with company values.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
