Nelson Mullins is in search of a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Litigation group in the Columbia, South Carolina office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity for an associate to join an expanding and fast-paced practice that offers a range of litigation services to clients in a variety of industries.
A Day in the Life
Nelson Mullins’ Columbia SC office was established in 1897 by Patrick Henry Nelson. Today in Columbia, we have approximately 115 attorneys and 230 support staff providing client services across a range of practice areas, including corporate, litigation, intellectual property, government relations, and e-discovery.
Nelson Mullins’ office in Columbia also hosts the Firm’s business and administrative functions, including our financial, human resources, marketing, operations and technology teams, enabling us to maintain infrastructure cost-efficiencies while also providing access to talent here in South Carolina’s capital city. We Know You
You have at least one year of meaningful experience in commercial litigation in a mid-size or large law firm setting. You’re prepared to draft and argue discovery motions, take and defend depositions, and bring a positive, entrepreneurial spirit to a growing office. You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills with strong academic credentials. You are adept in case management, ready to take the lead, and are, or willing to be, admitted to the South Carolina Bar.
