What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Laborer position at Nelson Pipeline Constructors, LLC?
Nelson Pipeline Constructors is looking for a field laborer to provide support and assistance in other field operations. The role of Laborer includes manual labor, as well as assisting other trades to the extent necessary with hands-on work.
Responsibilities:
- Working cooperatively with the crew to accomplish tasks
- Maintaining tools, cords and equipment so that they are kept in good working order and are safe for use
- Maintaining the work area(s) in a clean and orderly manner on a continuous basis
- Consistently reporting for work on time and in appropriate attire
- Assist in creating lists of materials, supplies, specialty tools and equipment (proactively) that are needed to perform the work
- Make the Superintendent/Foreman aware of any material, supply or other shortages on the job in a timely manner
- Participating in training and other forms of development to strengthen technical, safety and other skills
- Other job duties as assigned
