What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Crew Foreman position at Nelson Pipeline Constructors, LLC?
Nelson Pipeline is seeking a highly motivated Foreman based out of our Fort Lupton, CO office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a worksite to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently while effectively communicating with all departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises a crew of up to 12 employees and prioritizes work
- Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines
- Drives safety culture and standards by conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring the crew is following all safety standards
- Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures
- Maintain clean & safe jobsite
- Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner
- Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation
- Is responsible for maintaining a fully staffed crew, interviewing, hiring and training employees, performance conversations, disciplinary action, addressing complaints, resolving problems and more
- Attends branch operation meetings as required
- Looks ahead 2 days to ensure efficient workflows and timely completion of projects
- Responsible for locates
- Reads plans & guide stakes
- Establishes & builds client relationships
- Strong understanding of math/geometry
- Other job duties as assigned
