Auto Body Technician

*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and maintenance, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. *Duties* - Perform auto body repairs on various vehicles, including frame straightening and panel replacement. - Utilize hand tools and equipment for tasks such as welding, soldering, and assembling parts. - Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine repair needs and provide accurate auto estimating. - Replace or repair auto glass as needed, ensuring proper installation and sealing. - Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. - Assist with heavy lifting and moving of vehicle parts and equipment during the repair process. - Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle. *Skills* - Proficiency in auto body repair techniques, including welding and soldering. - Experience with auto estimating processes, preferably in a dealership setting. - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools effectively. - Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and standards. - Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. - Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
