In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to tree trimming and removal, including planning, assigning, directing, checking, and coordinating work.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and service equipment, such as gasoline, hydraulic tools, power saws, power winches, buckets, chippers, and sprayers.
- Use hand tools, such as axes, hand-lines, saws, block and tackle, pruners, etc.
- Clean up and dispose of all debris.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be willing to join local union and pay union dues.
- Possesses working knowledge and can identify tree and shrub species.
Physical Requirements:
The work environment is outdoors, with exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, wind, rain, snow, ice, sun, dust, pollen, and other environmental conditions. The work may also involve exposure to hazardous materials and equipment.
