POSITION SUMMARY:

Nemacolin has an exciting opportunity as an Assistant Program Manager of University Relations to represent our luxury resort brand! This associate will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and attracting prospective students and recent college graduates to join team Nemacolin. They will play a pivotal role in promoting the Company's programs, culture, and values to prospective students, early career talent, faculty, or staff, ensuring Nemacolin attracts top hospitality and professional talent.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

  • Nurture partnerships with universities to position Nemacolin as an employer of choice.
  • Manage a subset of Interns and/or Managers in Training (ALDP participants) by facilitating professional development courses, maintaining regular engagement with 1:1, crossover meetings, etc.
  • Build lasting connections with students, faculty, and career services departments to foster a talent pipeline.
  • Maintain relationships with prospective students or candidates through regular engagement virtually, networking events, communication, and via professional and social channels.
  • Represent Nemacolin as a brand ambassador at career fairs, university events, and community outreach programs.
  • Host and organize property tours, shadowing experiences, information sessions, and recruitment events to attract prospective candidates.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and participate in career fairs, campus events, and information sessions to engage with students and promote job opportunities.
  • Coach and mentor interns and new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into Nemacolin's operation.
  • Implement innovative ideas to involve Nemacolin into standard classroom learning experiences such as competitions, projects, mentorships, debates, etc.
  • Leverage Nemacolin Handshake Premium Account to establish new collegiate connections, university relations, and introducing our luxury brand to thousands of new students.
  • Assist in all other projects, as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing).
  • 2-4 years of experience in university or campus recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for connecting with diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for recruitment events.
