Employee Café Attendant

The Associate Café Attendant is responsible for greeting associates and answering any menu questions. The Attendant also prepares and serves meals and replenishes stations with food, utensils, condiments, napkins and drinking cups.  Some work in dining rooms, cleaning tables and sweeping floors. Those working on food assembly lines work as teams, ensuring meals are accurate and served at the proper temperatures.

Duties:

• Verifies that all portion sizes, quality standards, dept. rules/policies/procedures are maintained by kitchen associates. Improve and maintain all sanitation and organizational aspects in the kitchen.
• Always maintain a positive attitude toward fellow associates, management, and ownership
• Assist in management of production of fellow staff members.
• Take accountability for all associates and make sure problem is rectified.
• Reporting problems to Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef Assist in menu development and food/menu cost analysis.
• Responsible for helping other kitchen associates in completing all projects issued by the Chef de Cuisine and the Executive Chef.

Qualifications:

• Complete knowledge of menu and food being served.
• Constantly strive to become better and more knowledgeable, bringing the level of service up on a daily basis.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transporation
• Must be able to speak English.
