Inventory Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the flow of merchandise in and out of the Retail Inventory Room. This individual will process all incoming deliveries; receiving, quality checks, ticketing and coordinate the delivery of product to each individual outlet. This position supports both the Inventory and Merchandise Manager in all functions.                                                                       

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Reconcile incoming product deliveries from Purchasing log
• Check in delivered product against corresponding receiver
• Receive all retail product in Yellow Dog
• Notify Retail Group of deliveries for the business day
• Transfers as required
• Deliver Product to each outlet
• Assist with retrieval of invoices as needed                        
• Notify Buyers of any variances with shipments
• Ticketing of all Retail product going to sales floor
• Assist with shipping of merchandise to guests/vendors
• Perform returns to vendors (RTAs)
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Retail Inventory room          
• Assist with inventory functions such as cycle counts, annual physical inventory and damages/write outs
• Supports online store as well as the Inventory and Merchandise Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Must have computer skills
• Solid working knowledge of inventory software applications
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people including team members, vendors, sale representatives, and guests
• Team player that is willing to assist in multiple areas as the need arises
• Must be available for occasional weekends and holidays                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS STANDARD:

            Lifting, bending, reaching, and stooping are all physical aspects of the job. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
