We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Retail Jewelry Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and have detailed product knowledge. You will assist guests in finding the perfect pieces of jewelry, communicate product features and benefits and close sales transactions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury jewelry, excellent communication skills and a strong ability to build relationships with our guests/customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Greets guests and provides personalized assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintains working knowledge of the products and services offered at Nemacolin.
• Assists guests/customers in selecting jewelry pieces which meet their individual preferences and styles.
• Educates guests/customers on the quality, craftsmanship and value of our jewelry products.
• Offers advice on matching jewelry items to enhance customers’ overall look or aesthetic.
• Provides accurate information regarding pricing, warranties, and payment options.
• Actively engages with guests/customers to build relationships, understand their needs, anticipate those needs, and establish trust.
• Operates and utilizes point-of-sale systems and maintain accurate records of sales transactions.
• Prepares gift bags and packs the merchandise for shipping purposes.
• Meets or exceeds sales goals by closing sales transactions and achieving daily targets.
• Maintains an attractive store environment by organizing displays and ensuring products are properly showcased.
• Stays up to date with industry trends, new jewelry collections and competitors’ offerings.
• Other job duties assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 

• Customer-service oriented.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with guests/customers quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey product information and benefits to guests/customers.
• Detail-oriented approach towards maintaining store displays in inventory management.
• Proficiency in technology – including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours – including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift, push and/or pull up to (fifty) 50 pounds as well as ability to stand up to eight (8) hours subsequently during shift.
