POSITION SUMMARY:
The Revenue Analyst will be reporting to the Revenue Manager and supporting the Director of Revenue Management in the implementation of the strategy to maximize the revenues at Nemacolin Resort.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Revenue Analyst will assist the RM and DORM in the following duties:
- Analyze the hotel performance in the RMS and make recommendations for strategy changes in relation to day types, room and building types, ideal mix, to be able to react early to guest behavior changes (new events, etc.)
- Maintain Sell Strategy and Group Rate Sales Calendar, and survey market and competitors in terms of pricing and closed dates as a basis for future pricing strategies
- Consult and implement on a daily basis the recommendations in inventory, distribution tools and pricing, minimum stays and upselling opportunities
- Communicate daily on updated strategies with on-site reservations department
- Maintain all Revenue Management Documents utilized in weekly Revenue Meetings
- Optimize existing distribution channels and develop new revenue streams
- Calculate availability and minimum rate for group quotations requests
- Develop and consolidate multiple reports into one or two comprehensive documents with respect to pick-up, forecast, and budgets
- Assist the Reservations team with internal emails and reservation requests Provide forecasts, compared to the strategy and budget
- Work in concert with other revenue generating departments to achieve common goals
- Track, analyze and report revenue management information that is predictive and actionable
- Act as a support in the preparation of the annual revenue budget
- Assist in the weekly Revenue Meeting
- Assist with various reports and ad hoc tasks
- Act as a support in the absent of the Revenue Manager6. Analytics and Reporting
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- College graduate preferred (Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Hotel Management)
- An understanding of reservation process
- An understanding of the independent, upper-upscale, or luxury hotel industry
- Exceptional computer skills (Springer Miller, SynXis, Delphi, Microsoft Office preferred)
- Strong independent, interpersonal, analytical, project management, verbal presentation, and written communication skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong command of English in both
- Ability and willingness to work weekends and evenings as required7. Event Coverage:
