Job Description:
Nemacolin seeks a motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Kids Club Intern. This role is responsible for facilitating various children's programs, including events, babysitting, and kids camp.
Duties:
- Facilitate regular and specialty children's programs
- Provide activities for children, including trips to the Hardy Girls Gym, pool, and The Peak
- Ensure children are under appropriate supervision at all times
- Discuss program activities and disciplinary issues with parents as needed
- Maintain childcare rooms to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Report accidents or injuries to management and Security Department in a timely manner
- Represent Recreation Department on safety and associate activity committees
- Perform additional duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Continuous authorization to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Ability to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous childcare experience preferred
- Enrolled in or recent graduate of Bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related discipline
- Commitment to consecutive 16-week internship
