Nemco Food Equipment is best known for being an innovator of new equipment solutions that make the otherwise labor-intensive preparation of signature menu items faster and more cost-efficient.
In addition to its flagship food-prep equipment line, Nemco continues to develop, manufacture and market other countertop solutions in hot-dog cooking equipment, food-merchandising equipment, and food-holding equipment, along with those in its line of ovens, toasters, boiling units, waffle and cone bakers, industrial food-waste disposers and more.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Read and understand schematics and blueprints
- Position or align components and parts manually or with hand tools
- Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts
- Conduct quality control checks
- Clean and maintain work area, tools, and other equipment
- Ability to set up and operate machinery.
- Ability to read blueprints and to follow specific written instructions and procedures.
- Ability to use measuring tools.
- Operate forklift safely.
Relevant
Work Experience:
Experience as a general laborer in a production environment preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing: Most tasks are performed in a standing position with
intermittent walking.
Lifting: Frequently lifting items weighing 5 lbs. to 60 lbs.;
occasionally lifting items weighing up to 100lbs.
Walking: Frequent walking short distances (less than 1/8 mile).
Carrying: Occasional carrying of bulky items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Pushing: Use of manual hand truck and carts to occasionally move
skids or parts short distances.

Bending: Occasional bending required to perform a variety of tasks.

*Employees must have exceptional hand-eye coordination, which is the ability to visually control the hands at a rapid or constant rate. They typically perform the same task repeatedly, using their hands and power tools to complete the task
Work Schedule:
3rd Shift: 7pm- 5am Monday- Thursday Subject to Change
3rd shift premium: $1.50 per hour
Occasional overtime is required
Salary : $21 - $22
