What You’ll Do:
This position is a working supervisor, maintaining a small caseload while supervising Family Services Coordinators. Responsible for implementation of the Parent, Family and Community Engagement framework. Works closely with program leadership to ensure clear communication, efficient systems, and adequate resources to support the needs of staff, families and children. This position models and is responsible for implementation of exemplary customer service. Monitors data and follows up on concerns with quick and appropriate action. Safety of children is the top priority for all Early Childhood Staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision to assigned Family Services Coordinators, monitoring daily performance, organizing workflow for increased efficiency, and coaching employees as needed; responsible for direct reports accountability, work activity, leave time and professional development;
- Provide consultation to Family Services Coordinators with challenging situations to ensure needs are identified and addressed;
- Monitor interaction between Family Services Coordinators and families;
- Model, implement and monitor exemplary customer service to support program and agency goals;
- Oversee implementation of Parent Family and Community Engagement Framework; suggest improvements to systems, policies and forms;
- Monitor assessment of family needs and development of family plans to ensure appropriate services are provided and desired outcomes achieved;
- Process Household Income Eligibility Statement in compliance with CACFP regulations; record CACFP food classification in Child plus to ensure appropriate reimbursement rates; ensure all necessary forms are received in a timely manner;
- Provide ongoing tracking, analysis and follow up of family engagement, health services and ERSEA requirements including outcomes; provide monthly report to supervisor;
- Clearly communicate with direct reports, peers and supervisor to enhance services for families;
- Maintain knowledge and proficiency in database and other electronic systems; develop technology skills and utilize software programs as requested to effectively monitor data and outcomes;
- Facilitate monthly group meetings with Family Services Coordinators to review data, recruitment, enrollment, family engagement activities, service delivery and other pertinent information;
- Meet individually with direct reports on a monthly basis;
- Attend monthly Family Services Managers meetings;
- Coordinate and attend monthly data reviews with identified positions;
- Complete assigned training;
- Deliver training as assigned to staff, parents, and community members to ensure compliance with all program standards;
- Schedule and facilitate three Parent Leadership Meetings in assigned Areas each program year; ensure involvement of Policy Council representatives;
- Monitor parent meetings, activities and events; make recommendations to enhance service delivery; ensure parents are decision makers;
- Maintain confidentiality and Code of Conduct at all times.
