About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) team in Wilmington, DE. This is a full-time, 36 hours per week position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for improving and maintaining clinically based nursing care in the NICU. You will intervene at the infant/family, nurse, and systems level, collaborating with the healthcare team to provide expert family-centered clinical care and consultation within the NICU.
Your primary goal will be to improve outcomes and promote integrated healthcare that is safe, equitable, timely, effective, and efficient.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care in the NICU.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement plans of care for patients in the NICU.
- Provide education and training to clinical staff on best practices in neonatal care.
- Evaluate and improve the quality of care provided in the NICU.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing, MSN required.
- Minimum 5 year related clinical experience.
- Active Delaware (or compact state) Registered Nurse Licensure Required.
- Active Delaware (or compact state) Advanced Practice Nurse (as a Clinical Nurse Specialist) Licensure Required.
- Board Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
