Nemours is seeking a Part-Time Dental Lab Technician for our Milford Senior Care team.
Primary Functions
This position is responsible for: Providing dental laboratory services as specified by attending dentist. Reports directly to the Lead Dental Laboratory Technician for technical direction and administratively to the Dental Services Supervisor.
Essential Functions
High School Diploma Required
At least 5 years of experience as a Dental Technician required.
Must have experience with setting and finishing full, partial and wrought wire partials.
Candidate must have dental lab experience, specifically with set ups, packing and finishing.

Nemours is seeking a Part-Time Dental Lab Technician for our Milford Senior Care team.
Primary Functions
This position is responsible for: Providing dental laboratory services as specified by attending dentist. Reports directly to the Lead Dental Laboratory Technician for technical direction and administratively to the Dental Services Supervisor.
Essential Functions
- Fabricate dental removable appliances according to dentist’s specifications both oral and written.
- Consult with dentist at patient visit to determine best patient treatment options; assist dentist in operatory with problem cases.
- Independently interpret and apply oral and written instructions.
- Perform resets of dentures and partials while the patient waits to provide optimal patient satisfaction.
- Repair and /or reline full and partial dentures while the patient waits to alleviate return visits, including welding.
- Set-up, invest, pack, process, finish and polish full and partial dentures, flippers, and night guards.
- Construct shims, mouth guards, temporary crowns, custom trays and bite rims.
- Wax up diagnostic crown and bridge cases; pour preliminary and final impressions.
- Order lab supplies and keep up inventory of teeth; organize lab cases for following day's appointments.
- Maintenance of all equipment.
