Nemours is seeking an Enterprise Internal Communications Specialist to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Jacksonvile, FL.
The Enterprise Internal Communications Specialist, North Florida, is responsible for supporting and partnering with the Enterprise Internal Communications team to advance the Nemours Children’s Health, Florida strategy. Reporting to the Florida Manager of Enterprise Internal Communications, this role will occasionally travel to Central Florida/Orlando and Pensacola. This is a hybrid position with regular on-site responsibilities in Jacksonville.
The person in this role will develop collaborative relationships with business partners in North Florida (Jacksonville and Pensacola) and design and implement comprehensive, integrated internal marketing and communications strategies that support their organizational goals. Though based in North Florida, the specialist will have enterprise responsibilities.
A key responsibility will include developing and supporting editorial, content and channel strategy for associate communications, including web and mobile news delivery through our associate app, Nemours Now. The specialist will work collaboratively with the Public Relations, social media, Marketing, Brand, Creative and Digital teams among others.

Duties Include
- Work closely with senior leaders and their teams to develop and deliver messages that impact our associates and how we deliver patient care.
- Work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic communications that reflect the voice of our associates.
- Oversee and/or support Town Hall meetings and other enterprise-wide associate events or initiatives. This includes assisting leaders and business partners in determining content, developing invitations and creating/deploying presentations. Additionally, managing logistical elements with multimedia/partner teams to deliver successful and informative events, and coordinating post-event communication as needed.
- Support the development and growth of an effective two-way communication strategy on internal channels throughout the enterprise
- Identify relevant communications and engagement opportunities and evaluate their effectiveness through analytics.
- Write and edit a wide range of content in various formats for various platforms.
- Manage and contribute to the editorial content of the weekly enterprise wide newsletter, local weekly newsletter(s) and supporting elements of the organization’s associate communications app and intranet, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information distributed.
- Develop presentations, FAQs, leader talking points, and messages to associates for key internal projects, processes/policies or initiatives.
- Support the Enterprise Communications team with emergency management needs, including, but not limited to, Incident Command System response and other critical Incident/crisis duties.
- Join periodic on-call rotation to ensure support of Nemours Children’s operational emergencies (approximately once every four weeks).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
- Previous experience in the corporate or internal communication field and/or marketing/digital space.
