The Research Program Manager is position is primarily responsible for providing overall financial & business applications support to the Nemours Research Core Facility units. This individual must have specialized knowledge of core facilities and finance and operations. They must be able to plan and maintain a centralized management software system (iLab) with strong focus on pricing, billing, accounts receivable, aging, monthly reporting, metrics and forecasting. This position supports the Research Laboratory Administrator and will partner with VP of Research Administration, Director of Research Administrative Services Research, Research Finance, Center Directors, Core Directors, and Administrators to aide in the development of strategic, operating, and financial plans to accomplish long term research laboratory strategic goals. Primary Responsibilities : Serve as the point person for implementing & maintenance of cores management software system. Works in coordination with the Research Laboratory Administrator to onboard new core facilities into the research structure. Manage and oversee the monthly clinical diagnostic revenue, core chargebacks, cost recover targets, including cost transfers, billing, aging and analysis. Ensures data consistency, accuracy, and completeness in the processing of all financial transactions, including reconciliation. Review lab pricing during the annual budget season. Aide in the development of new pricing and descriptions including cost analysis and competitive pricing. Partner with the research laboratory administrator, and core directors to establish and implement short- and long-range financial goals and objectives. Works in conjunction with the Director of Research Administrative Services Research and Research Finance for core budget development and monitoring. Provide overall financial support, ad-hoc analysis, metrics, forecasting and statistical support and other value added financial related input to Core Directors, the Director of Research Administrative Services and the Research leadership teams. Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 3 years of specialized knowledge of the Core Facility, Laboratory Finance & Operations required
