Primary Functions:
The Workforce Pipeline Development Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and execution of workforce pipeline programs, focusing primarily on North Florida while collaborating with the Workforce Pipeline Program Manager in Central Florida and the Director, Workforce Partnership Development in Delaware. This role is responsible for ensuring effective communication, coordination, and execution of workforce development initiatives aimed at preparing a skilled workforce to meet the evolving needs of the organization. The Coordinator will engage with students, external and internal stakeholders, educational institutions, employers, and community organizations to drive program success and maximize community impact.
Essential Functions:
- Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor.
- Program Support & Coordination: Assist the Workforce Pipeline Development Program Manager and Director, Workforce Partnership Development in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of workforce development programs across multiple regions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with educational institutions, community organizations, and governmental agencies to ensure effective program outreach and engagement. Focus on building partnerships that strengthen the workforce pipeline in North Florida.
- Data & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on key performance metrics for workforce pipeline programs. Provide actionable insights to the leadership team for program optimization and impact tracking.
- Communication & Outreach: Serve as the primary point of contact for workforce development initiatives in North Florida. Facilitate communication between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on program goals and progress.
- Event Planning & Execution: Assist with the coordination of community outreach events, recruitment drives, training workshops, and other workforce development-related activities.
- Administrative Support: Maintain program documentation, schedules, and participant records to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Work with the Workforce Pipeline Development Program Manager and Director, Workforce Partnership Development to evaluate program effectiveness, gather feedback, and recommend improvements to enhance the impact of workforce development initiatives.
- Travel: Occasional travel required to support events, meetings, and outreach activities in North Florida and other regions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in workforce development, human resources, program coordination, or a similar role. Experience in North Florida workforce development is a plus.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with government agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations in workforce development.
- Familiarity with local labor market trends and regional workforce needs.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required).
