Advanced Practice Provider - Pediatric Nephrology

Nemours Children’s Health Pensacola is seeking Nephrology Advanced Practice Providers to staff at Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart.    

Essential Functions:

• Provides independent and collaborative care with Nephrologists for pediatric nephrology patients.
• Help manage the ambulatory blood pressure monitor readings.
• Conducts parent interviews and takes family history.
• Collaborates with Nephrologist concerning pertinent historical events, physical findings, diagnostic and therapeutic measures initiated on all admissions.
• Participates in multidisciplinary clinics for patients with chronic kidney disease
• Participates in meeting goals of the department.
• Completes timely documentation as required by departmental policy and Nemours standards.
• Participates in daily rounds.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation. Active license as a Physician Assistant in the State of Florida

           OR                                                                                              

• Active Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure/Physician Assistant Licensure, with or without prescriptive authority                                                                   
• Current AHA BLS
