Nemours is seeking a Content Strategist to join our Nemours Children’s Health team in Jacksonville, FL or Wilmington, DE.
The Content Strategist will play a crucial role in developing, managing, and optimizing content across various platforms to support our mission of creating the healthiest generations of children. This position requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, excellent writing skills, and the ability to create engaging and informative content for diverse audiences.
Essential Functions
1. Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging, and informative content for Nemours.org and KidsHealth.org, brand social media channels, newsletters, blogs, and other digital platforms.
2. Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing strategy team to create and implement a comprehensive strategy that aligns content across channels, outlines the right messages for our target audiences, and supports our broader organizational goals.
3. SEO Optimization: Optimize content for search engines to increase visibility and drive traffic to our digital platforms.
4. Editorial Calendar: Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery in collaboration with all Marketing and Communications teams.
5. Research: Conduct research on relevant topics, trends, and best practices in children’s health to inform content creation.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with Nemours Children’s providers and associates to gather information and create accurate, empathetic, and impactful content.
7. Analytics: Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools, and adjust strategies as needed to improve engagement and reach.
8. Compliance: Ensure all content adheres to regulatory guidelines and organizational standards for accuracy, privacy, and sensitivity.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field required.
