Do you have experience using data, spreadsheets, reporting tools, etc to support operational activities and projects?  Experience in managed care operations or other healthcare contracting?   

Under the direction of the Value-Based Services Organization (VBSO) Manager VBSO Business Support, the VBSO Business Information Analyst is responsible for data production, retrieval, summarization, analysis, reconciliation, distribution and quality assurance in support of VBSO operations and projects.

This role may be tasked with supporting one or more areas including but not limited to Nemours primary care operations, population health, medical management, Delaware Children’s Health Network (DCHN) operations, value-based contracts and more. The role will be responsible for supporting multiple projects and activities concurrently under the direction of different VBSO Leaders or other Nemours and/or DCHN leaders. 

This role may also be tasked with performing basic project management functions, including project tracking, status updates, routine project reports, agenda and minutes preparation, issue and risk escalation and more.

  1. Produce and distribute required data and reports per designated schedules and timelines
  2. Working closely with internal and external leaders to ensure that necessary external information and data is received in a timely fashion
  3. Develop models for tracking data production and distribution according to schedule 
  4. Develop and maintain data extraction, aggregation and validation models for disparate data from multiple sources in support of quantitative analyses as well as operational, financial, and clinical reporting
  5. Conduct cross-validation, data cleansing and quality checks for extracted data.
  6. Support documentation of standard processes, data definitions, contract requirements, in an accessible manner
  7. Develop and prepare scorecards, dashboards and summary reports showing high-level results and trends appropriate for different internal and external audiences. 
  8. Develop and execute analytical and/or investigative activities to provide stakeholders with information and tools for strategic decision-making and planning, health care utilization and costs, productivity, affordability opportunities, reimbursement projects and issues, population health and clinical outcomes, provider patterns and variations, trends and forecasting, data and informatics needs, and more. 
  9. Provide project management support including tracking milestones, issues, risks, agendas, minutes as needed
  10. Collaborate with IT and business units to advance Nemours reporting capabilities
  11. Train stakeholders on how to interpret reports and data, as necessary, using the appropriate level for the intended audience

Associates degree required

3-5 Years of experience necessary

Experience using data, spreadsheets, reporting tools, etc to support operational activities and projects.  Highly relevant experience may be substituted for years of work
