What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver position at NEMT LLC?
We provide transportation to clients to and from hospital, facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, medical offices, and/or private residence in a safe, secure, and professional manner.
Two Positions Available:
Wheelchair: Monday-Friday, assisting clients in a manual or electric wheelchair, securing them in the wheelchair converted minivan and transporting them to and from medical appointments.
Ambulatory: Monday-Friday, assisting clients who are able to enter and exit vehicle on their own and transporting them to and from medical appointments.
Qualifications: (Paid Training Provided)
1. Class E drivers license
2. First Aid/CPR
3. Pass basic (Transporting individuals with disabilities )
4. Defensive Driving
5. Need to be prompt and reliable
6. Background check and drug screen
7. Online and Hands on Wheelchair securement training (if Applicable)
