We are seeking an experienced and reliable **Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver** to join our team. As a NEMT driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring their comfort and well-being during transit.
**Responsibilities:**
- Safely transport patients to medical appointments and other necessary destinations.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, offering support as needed.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, maintained, and in good working condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a safe trip for passengers.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including patient details and time logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
- Ensure timely arrival to scheduled appointments.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a NEMT driver or in a similar driving position preferred.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
- Ability to lift and assist passengers, including those with mobility challenges.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Compassionate, reliable, and punctual.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
