Our client is an established engineering consulting firm that is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to join their growing team within the Bay area!
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the mechanical team
- Create and maintain customer relationships
- Lead projects and train junior staff/designers
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated response
- Layout of mechanical systems using AutoCAD and/or REVIT software
- Coordinate system design with other trades
- Attend jobsite meetings
- Identify and resolve conflicts as they arise
- 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- AutoCAD and REVIT software experience
- Navisworks and/or Sysque software experience
- Plumbing systems design experience
- P.E. or E.I.T
- Cost estimation experience
