Position : Asset Technician / Help Desk -II
Location : Wisconsin
Essential Duties:
The following duties are typically expected of this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Provides inventory management services for Technology Services assets throughout the Madison College District.
- Maintains an inventory management system for accurate tracking of all District technology assets.
- Maintains a consistent supply of hardware to include repair/replacement parts, CPU s, printers, monitors, cables, docks, and all other equipment necessary to maintain the efficient technological functioning of all District locations.
- Maintains an orderly and organized storage system for all technology services assets.
- Organizes and facilitates the removal of technology services assets from inventory.
- Maintains the order tracking system for all inbound technology services assets.
- Receives inbound shipments and assigns unique identification numbers to each item. Creates and affixes I.D. tag and bar code to all District assets.
- Enters unique I.D. tracking numbers into inventory management system along with other pertinent use information.
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of Technology Services support products and services.
- Maintains a strong knowledge of the incident management system and reporting functionality.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years (4,000 hours) related work experience to include one year (2,000 hours) work experience performing asset management duties in a medium to large work environment (500-2000 workstations).
