JOB DESCRIPTION
MDHS PMO is currently seeking one (1) individual to work with the MDHS SUCCESS PMO team to act as the primary Business Analyst (BA) in support of the business area SME teams on the SUCCESS Project with the Design Development Integration (DDI) vendor. This individual will be responsible for Business Analyst duties related to defining requirements, managing work backlogs, setting work priorities, overseeing IT development stages related to planning, designing, testing, approval, and implementation of SUCCESS platform modules. The candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in development, requirements gathering, process mapping, data analysis, product owner management, software development lifecycles, and knowledge of project management processes. Advanced experience with requirements management, Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, KABAN, etc.), development, and writing user stories for testing and system validation is also desired. Candidate must be a motivated team player with excellent problem solving and communication skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have a minimum of seven (8) years experience in IT development and CI/CD processes.
Candidates must have a minimum of three (4) years experience as a Business Analyst and Tester.
Candidates must possess advanced knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and project management.
Candidates must have experience with DevOps, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and JIRA.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Working knowledge of Information Systems supporting MDHS SNAP, TANF, Child Support and Child Care systems.
Tracking system defects with project tools such as JIRA and JAMA.
Experience working within an Agile Team Environment and leading SCRUM meetings.
Experience effectively communicating with departmental program managers and executives.
