Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of patient care in a friendly and supportive environment We are currently seeking an X-Ray Tech Medical Assistant with an ARRT license and C-arm experience to assist with imaging procedures. Availability for Saturday shifts and bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and assist with the C-arm machine during various diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Position patients for X-ray imaging, ensuring optimal imaging results and patient safety.
- Provide assistance to the medical team during procedures, ensuring proper positioning and equipment use.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and provide comfort.
- Maintain and clean the C-arm machine and imaging area to ensure safety and hygiene.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all procedures and patient interactions.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation protection and HIPAA compliance.
- Assist with administrative duties as needed, including verifying patient information and assisting with scheduling.
- Offer excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with patients.
Qualifications:
- ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required.
- Experience using a C-arm machine for interventional procedures.
- Fluency in Spanish required to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or X-ray Tech preferred.
- Strong understanding of radiographic techniques, imaging safety, and radiation protection.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a healthcare team.
