Northeast Ohio Wildlife Removal, LLC is looking to add a full time Wildlife Exclusion Specialist to the team. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a team setting but also thrives individually. The position will perform inspections of homes including roofs and foundations for wildlife entry points, sealing entry points, trapping nuisance animals, attic insulation removal and replacement, driving a company vehicle, and offering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
-Animal removal services including inspection of situation/problem, setting traps, baiting traps, maintaining traps and customer relation while trapping and removal of animals, euthanizing animals in some situations. It is important to be comfortable in unconformable situations (i.e. in an attic with an active bat or raccoon problem, under a deck with low clearance to remove a dead animal)
-Communicate effectively with customers about their service, including updates to plans and service schedules.
-Identify active and potential entry points during inspections
-Perform exclusion services at any working height to stop animal entry. Must have general carpentry knowledge, knowledge of knowing how to use a metal flashing brake would be greatly recommended
-Must be proficient in using a caulk gun on the ground, roof and and ladder. Good knowledge and use of sealants is very important
-Attic remediations; including removal of insulation, disinfecting using a fogger, and blowing in new insulation with company equipment.
-Operate, document and maintain company equipment and vehicle to company standards
-Document services performed according to company standards, applicable law and regulations
-Continued education and certifications
-Anticipate roadblocks that could impact customer expectations and/or job and recommend solutions
What You Need
-High school Diploma or GED
-Previous ladder experience, ability to set and use an extension ladder (up to 40’) in a safe manner to measure, preform services, and climb on roofs
-Roof experience is very important; both on steep slopes and low sloped roof
-General carpentry experience/knowledge
-Knowledge of using a sheet metal brake to box out soffit corners and repair flashing
-Open availability to workdays, weekends to rotating weekends, emergency calls
-Ability to obtain and maintain license/certifications as required by federal, state, and local regulations
-Must pass pre-employment background screening
-Must possess a valid drivers licenses and pass a motor vehicle record search and drug screening
-Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
-Ability to work in crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and roofs
-Ability to work in a hot atmosphere
-Ability to work in various weather conditions
-Strong attention to details and willingness to learn
-Must be dependable and able to make it to work on time
-Professional and care for the customer
-Must have the mind of a detective to be able to adequality solve situations/problems that require outside the box thinking
