NeoGenomics has an opening for a Client Reimbursement Specialist who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This position is a Monday – Friday, Remote role to work an Eastern time zone day shift.

Position Summary:
As a Client Reimbursement Specialist you will perform client related processes responding to client inquires and performs client AR collections. Drives continuous client education and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Responds to and resolves client inquiries impacting proper invoicing and payment resolution
- May have contact with clients, patients, insurance carriers and/or outside sources
- Research involving billing systems and various billing processes
- Reviews invoicing at end of month to ensure proper billing
- Responds to price inquires and requests for updates
- Researches and responds to Sales inquires
- Researches and compiles data necessary and communicates findings to billing management
- Assists team with training and responding to questions
Experience & Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 2 years related experience in billing, insurance and third party receivables or healthcare industry
- Laboratory billing experience desired
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledgeable about billing practices
- This may include knowledge of Test pricing and CPT coding, reimbursement processes; commercial billing accounts receivables, review and interpretation of aging, cash flows, write offs and follow up analysis
- Proficiency in utilizing MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access
- Able to write, speak, and listen well and appropriately with different audiences.
