Position Summary

Position Summary
Key member of the Strategy and Business Development team at NEO, leading all program management and transformation activities across corporate functions. Additionally, this role is an active team member in Strategy and Business Development activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Project Managers coordinating cross-functional activities and projects across corporate functions
- Establish a standardized framework for overall program management and a reporting cadence that provides visibility to leaders across the organization to track status and surface any potential dependencies or need for issue escalation and resolution
- Working closely with the executive leadership team, lead the development and overall administration of a company-wide operating model for the prioritization of cross-functional corporate initiatives
- Oversee and guide all cross-functional integration management activities for corporate development (M&A) initiatives
- Oversee and manage strategic partner onboarding and activation activities in close coordination and collaboration with commercial, operations and financial teams across the company
- Participate and engage, as a member of the leadership team, in strategic evaluation projects specific to new market development, corporate positioning and/or transformation
- Collaborate with the business development and legal teams, on an as-needed basis, to assist in coordinating and executing cross-functional deal-related activities (e.g. internal diligence, external diligence and/or post-signing activities)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, required
- MBA or other business qualification strongly preferred
- 12 years of strategy, business/corporate development progressive experience, with strong preference given to public company experience
- Strong background in diagnostics/laboratory/life sciences is required
- A track record in managing cross-functional programs from start through to completion
- Experience in oncology and/or molecular diagnostic testing a strong plus
- Experience managing and coordinating cross-functional complex opportunities from early conception to completion
- Demonstrated track record of driving operational KPIs and achieving stated goals associated with cross-functional projects on-time and below budget
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, either in a direct reporting or a dotted line reporting capacity
- Exposure to and comfort managing strategic transaction review and execution, analyzing financial models, coordinating due diligence process and structuring transactions
- Sharp mind with strong analytical and numeric skills to enable problem-solving, proficient in financial modeling and analysis
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and presentation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Desire and ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact, collaborate and communicate with cross-functional leadership teams and the investment community
- Meticulous attention to detail while multi-tasking across a variety of projects
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
- Exhibits high levels of discretion and confidentiality
