The Sales Operations Data Analyst will play a key role in managing the success of the Sales and Sales Development teams through continuous review of data associated with prospecting and follow-up activity, including understanding total addressable market, ideal customer profiles, and proper usage of NEOGOV’s technology stack, focusing heavily on inbound and outbound lead generation.
With this ‘in-office’ role, you will be responsible for identifying territory trends, key accounts, and buyers with a high likelihood of conversion, owning the process of assigning accounts and prospects for a 50 sales development team.
What You Will do
- Develop and maintain expert level knowledge of NEOGOV’s Sales Development process, including account based prospecting and multi-threading activities by persona
- Continually monitor activity data across a 50 sales development team, keeping Sales Development leadership informed on best practices and statistical anomalies
- Build and continuously update reports identifying prospects and accounts with high conversion probability, based on data and historical trends, helping to delivering call, email, and appointment setting goals
- Extract meaningful prospecting insights from large datasets by collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data using statistical methods
- Work with the Revenue Operations team closely, verifying Sales Engagement (Outreach) and CRM (Salesforce) technology is being leveraged to its fullest potential
- Own data analysis for sales engagement platform on an ongoing basis, focusing on opportunities for modification of activity steps, duration, and customer messaging
- Work with the leadership team to implement prospecting strategy changes, including technology modifications and individual process improvements
- Use Salesforce ETL tools to insert/update/delete data in Salesforce as per requirement
- Work with 3rd party tools like Zoominfo, Pursuit, and offshore teams to maintain Data Hygiene and keep the database duplicate free
- Train Sales Development leadership on Outreach functionality, reporting, and best practices
- Responsible for the administration of sales tools, including the Outreach Sales Engagement platform
Who You Are
- Able to understand the nuances of account based marketing and account multi-threading
- Able to understand data and make process improvements in real-time
- Translate manual or complex prospecting processes into easily actionable best practices
- Problem solving skills including listening to team members and designing scalable workflows
- Able to work independently, managing tight project deadlines
- Able to stay organized across multiple projects within a fast-paced environment, driving effective pipeline development
What You Have
- 3 years of experience in analyzing large datasets and identifying and communicating actionable insights to inform business strategy
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software a plus
- Experience with predictive modeling a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field preferred
- Preferred experience with Outreach Sales Engagement platform, or applicable solution
- Excellent written and verbal communication, cross-departmental relations, and organizational skills
- Experience in explaining complex sales and prospecting processes to internal team members in a way that's clear and compelling
- Knowledge of Google Suite, Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, or other like applications
- Extremely detailed oriented with the ability maintain processes and overcome obstacles while adhering to tight deadlines
Essential Functions
