The Data Import Specialist is to join our HRIS DWC Team (Data and Integrations). In this position, you will work with a team of highly skilled consultants, managers, developers and subject matter experts. With general direction and some latitude for independent judgment and discretion, this position is responsible for data analysis and technical support for inbound and outbound data quality. You will be supporting multiple integration initiatives for NEOGOV clients and work cross functionally with internal and external partners.
Evaluate and monitor data quality including exception and error handling at a complex level. Research data discrepancies and address issues by working with our clients and cross functional partners to resolve errors/issues.
Communicate with internal and external clients and vendors to provide support regarding file specifications and data quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
Develop, maintain and provide documentation on processes, scripts and case resolution procedures for future reference or use.
Provide guidance and training for new team members on file processing, exception and error handling.
Acquire/enhance application expertise to become more knowledgeable about evolving system analysis, programming and database technology. This may be accomplished by attending training, seminars and interfacing with senior level practitioners.
Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

What You Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three to five years of technical work experience involving data management/integrations.
Experience with working with public sector customer preferred but not required
Experience with SFTP and APIs
Experience building and mapping data file imports & exports
Experience with HR and/or TMS software and relative processes preferred
Experience with Saas technology model
Familiarity with HRIS, Benefits, G/L, Payroll, Time/Attendance and 834 integrations strongly preferred
Strong spreadsheet skills
Familiarity with SQL is a plus
